While at UMass I co-managed People's Market, a student-run cooperative. As a cooperative People's Market works to uphold the Rochdale principles while providing healthy and sustainable options to the UMass Amherst campus community. Per cooperative structure, there is no boss or manager and each co-manager has equal say in running the business. Part of my committee work entailed working with vendors to order inventory, tracking and properly filing invoices, and handling purchase orders for the cooperative.

At OnePIN, Inc. I worked as a marketing intern. This position involved market research and creating videos to market our products to specific clients as well as entire industries. This internship also provided me with experience with writing press releases and website content.

At UMass Amherst I have worked as a Research Assistant for professors in the department of Resource Economics. This role includes using Microsoft Excel to clean data for research projects investigating how US nutrition labeling regulation has impacted nationwide restaurant nutrition standards. I use Excel to meticulously spot check, correct, and organize relevant data for the research project.

In my role as a temporary Research Data Specialist at Dana Farber I assisted to file crucial medical documents for patients as well as fax for relevant patients. This job taught me skills in patient confidentiality and faxing.

During my first years at Tangerini's farm I was responsible for the maintenance of the ice cream shop, farmstand, and community farm share room. This job involved customer service and food safety skills, as well as business management skills. I became shift manager at this job, overseeing junior employees. Starting in May of 2018 I was promoted to work in our new kitchen facility. This job entailed the maintenance of our commercial kitchen facility, where we served a daily lunch menu, as well as staffing catering events. This kitchen job educated me on the realities of not only running a business, but also on the value of strong customer relations.
