In recent months the focus of my work has been automation and streamlining of operational costs, reporting and analysis with the goal of optimising contractual expenses. The projects focus on critical expenses on a global level. This has brought me to work with various entities to reconcile, optimise and provide visibility and understanding to all relevant stakeholders. I have also managed larger projects related to cost reduction, process automation and the overall improvement of operational efficiency. As a data efficiency analyst for the acquiring, sales and loan teams I focused on automating and streamlining operational processes and eradicating manual work. I worked on risk management for loan products, and conducted deep analyses using customer behaviour data such as default and transactional data. Other projects involved increasing visibility of KPI's, calculating and managing operational risk and optimising the pricing of various products. Additionally, I worked on cost and financial analyses for the business, and increasing the real-time visibility of the company's P&L.

As a senior manager in charge of the fraud detection system for Mastercard cards in Iceland, I focused on automating processes, improving efficiency, and conducting deep analytics work. My role included taking ownership of the fraud detection system and ensuring its effectiveness for Mastercard in Iceland on a daily basis. Additionally, I analysed trends in chargebacks and developed a strategy to improve efficiency.

As a frontline employee I was responsible for working both regular daytime shifts as well as evening and night emergency shifts. My main task was to handle customer inquiries and complaints, as well as being on the front line of the fraud detection system, ensuring its effectiveness.
