As a part of Equinix for over 13 years, I have gained varied experience in the colocation industry including Deal Management, Business Operations, Data Quality, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Capacity Management. Most recently, while under the office of the CEO on the global Data and Analytics team, I have been responsible for creating and managing global working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (Ops, FP&A, Com Fin, Corp Dev, IT) in order to complete data cleanups impacting the executive reporting of key performance indicators (Space and Power). As a part of that I also monitor the ongoing performance of those metrics and also foster a culture of collaboration and innovation among the cross-functional global working team.In my previous role at Equinix I was part of the regional (AMER) Commercial Solutions Business Operations team. My responsibilities included the negotiating and enforcing of our pricing expectations for new deals, maintaining and reporting on the financial health of our assets in the West coast region (Denver, Seattle, Silicon Valley & Los Angeles). Part of that role was to also review and approve the sales proposals that fall below the established thresholds for feasibility, negotiate customer renewal proposals, and review and approve customer termination request. Prior to that, I worked on the regional (AMER) Financial Planning & Analysis team, I was tasked with, producing monthly budget/forecast reports and analyzing variances within the time schedule of the Accounting month-end close process, providing support to the budget owners in the development of the annual company budget, and updating forecasts throughout the year. I work independently to create, modify, and update a suite of company metric reports and dashboards to identify trends and key drivers of the business.My daily workflows requires me to determine and leverage the most accurate data sources, create ad-Hoc reports and analysis, in order to present a global summary of the space and power data. I have gained expertise in Excel, Hyperion, Oracle Business Intelligence and Siebel, Power BI, Tableau, Capacity management tools, and the rest of Microsoft Office including SharePoint.
