Responsible for the leadership, training, supervision, mentorship, ensuring the welfare of, and the evaluation of multi-discipline Special Operations Capabilities Specialists (SOCS) in the performance of their duties, their professional development, and their security education and awareness while also advising the Command on matters pertaining to Intelligence Collection, Analysis, Production, and Dissemination in support of full spectrum special operations. Assisted the Command Security Management program by ensuring policies and procedures were adhered to in training and operational environments, both state-side and overseas, by all personnel including those assigned to the organization and civilians contracted for services.

As Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Training Company “D”, presided over two enlisted Special Operations occupational specialty/MOS producing courses for Communicators and Intelligence. Responsible to the Commanding Officer for the development, implementation, and supervision of all administrative, operational, logistical, legal and disciplinary policies and procedures for students and staff members. Supported curriculum development and execution, and instructor development through appropriate measures in accordance with organizational standard operation procedures.

Special Operations Capabilities Specialist - Intelligence (SOCS-I) and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Special Operations Command and Control Element – Sahel and Maghreb (SOCCE-SAM) J2 Officer and his staff on manpower, training, welfare and readiness of the intelligence personnel deploying to the AFRICOM AOR. Responsible for overall intelligence and production supporting deployed Marine Special Operations Forces within the AOR.

Planned and coordinated detailed intelligence support plans in direct support of National Special Security Events, including the 2015, 2016, and 2018 Presidential State of the Union Addresses, the 2017 Presidential Inauguration, the 2017 Presidential Address to a Joint Session of Congress, the 2016 Republican and Democratic National Conventions, and the 2015 Visit of Pope Francis.Served as the focal point for all aspects of security management within the organization. Duties included advising the Commander on matters affecting personnel, information, industrial and physical security with responsibilities cutting across staff functional and operational areas, both internal and external to the command.

Responsible for development and maintenance of intelligence products, management of the training scenario, and execution of intelligence-related training events in support of TTECG-led unit deployment readiness exercises. Additionally, evaluated the tactical intelligence operations of Marine infantry battalions in the conduct of offensive, defensive and stability operations; supervised the evaluation of tactical questioning, tactical site exploitation, and employment of biometrics equipment; and mentored the infantry battalion intelligence personnel as they prepared for upcoming deployments.

Stakeholder in the development and implementation of the Command Security Program during the organization and activation of MARSOC. Through the multiple unit reorganizations and name changes of subordinate units, ensured the integrity of all IPSP policies and procedures remained unaffected. Educated, advised and guided MSOC Commanders and personnel serving in security-related duties on matters related to the proper handling and safeguarding of classified/sensitive unclassified information within their respective areas to ensure comprehensive plans were in place to run a robust and effective information and personnel security program.
