The Greater Houston Partnership Ambassadors are a dynamic group of Member volunteers who represent GHP with Member companies and provide regular communications and motivation for Members to get involved with GHP and the Houston business community by showcasing GHP benefits and resources.

Downtown Houston

The Kiwanis Club of Houston is the oldest Kiwanis Club Chapter in the Houston area: we were founded in 1919 and have been meeting regularly ever since. Until 2013, we have always met in a downtown location: first meeting at the Rice Hotel, then at the Whitehall Hotel and finally at the Houston Club. In 2012 we learned that the Houston Club was going to be demolished for a new high-rise office building. We started looking for our fourth meeting venue and have been fortunate to find a wonderful private club located in the Galleria area just off Memorial Drive and Loop 610 adjacent to the Polo Fields and Memorial Park. If history is any judge, we will be meeting at this new facility for many years to come.Originally The Kiwanis Club of Houston was a men's club, but as times changed, Kiwanis did too: today we are comprised of both men and women of all ages and people of all race and faith backgrounds. Our club currently has over 100 members, and we all have one thing in common: to join together in service to our community.In fulfilling the Kiwanis mission "To serve the children of the world," the Kiwanis Club of Houston offers you the chance to be a part of a global organization with more than 15,000 clubs worldwide and over 600,000 members.
