Let’s make a dent in the universe.I always thought my dream was to be a world-class physical therapist to some of the biggest athletes on the planet. I'd fist bump LeBron James before arthroscopic knee surgery following a long, grueling season and would find myself in the rehab facility working on Kevin Durant’s severed Achilles’ tendon. We’d meet up each week for Taco Tuesday at LeBron’s house and…too far? Fair enough.In all seriousness, it seemed like an appropriate dream given my BS in Human Biology. I gravitated toward the medical field, with an uncontrollable passion for learning the inner composition of people, what makes them tick, what makes them go, what truly drives them. But somehow, I found tech, or rather, tech found me. Life is funny that way…It happened out of nowhere. The spark I never knew was missing ignited the moment I was introduced to the software industry. Since that day, I can’t picture my life in any other capacity. Tech calls to all of my passions; it incorporates creativity and problem solving, it yearns for storytelling and persuasion, as well as the encouragement to learn the most detailed, intricate and complex workings of the architecture.You see, I didn’t abandon human biology. I married them. It may have been an untraditional wedding of sorts, but the honeymoon has been fantastic. Like, rear-end in the Tahiti sand, fantastic. I now have the opportunity to learn the deepest, darkest secrets of our solution, and deliver value in a way that connects, educates, and persuades the audience sitting across the table. If my team and I do our jobs correctly, we drive a call for action, a call for change, a new way at solving old problems.I'm truly blessed to be a part of a revolutionary company, working with some of the most badass sales people on the planet. I'm a self-diagnosed sneaker addict, a father of two rockstar little boys, and a die-hard basketball fan.Let’s make a dent in the universe.
