In this role I was responsible for planning and implementing strategic initiatives that improved the financial health of the organization. These efforts included: foundation cultivation, government initiatives, public policy and advocacy, partnership development, multiyear strategic contracts, and board member engagement ensuring alignment to the vision and mission of the organization - to build the tech community.

Coordinate funder relationships, programs, and engagement activities between AIM and community organizations.Provide strategic insight into new partnerships in order to align community activities to AIM's mission. Oversees fund development & external affairs.

Supervised the production of the three day festival. Responsible for all aspects of the event planning and logistics, including but not limited to vendor management, parade line up and sponsorship requests.

Fulfilled a key role in an executive support to the Strategy and Development Group at this leading Fortune 500 provider of construction services for the government, transportation, power, water and other major sectors throughout North America.

Supervised site operations and staff in a before and after school community learning center. Developed program monthly schedules, daily program agendas, teacher lesson plans and engaging activities for more than 100 youth on a daily basis. Created and implemented family support activities. Solicited financial support from community and business partners. Prepared student progress reports in english and spanish and worked with parents to resolve family issues as they arise alongside the school principal and district administration. At Castelar Elementary, the minority student enrollment is 96% & it enrolls 91% economically disadvantaged students every year.
