Assist the Director of Regional Operations in managing financial accounting and report activities for all American regional affiliates (USA, Canada, Mexico and Colombia) - Company is in the manufacturing and retailing of nutritional and herbal food products with annual revenue of $500 million worldwide Assist in analytical review of monthly financial reports submission by affiliates and assemble of data for the purpose of financial reporting and analysis. A total of 3 affiliate accounting managers report directly to the Regional Accounting ManagerEnsure financial activities of affiliates are in compliance of HQ accounting and financial policies and proceduresPrepare annual budget, forecast, review budget to actual, discuss budget overruns, cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure, monitor inventory and evaluate operational controls and efficienciesComplete knowledge in the accounting platforms (Order Management, Account Receivable, Account Payable, Fixed Asset, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, Inventory and General Ledger) Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Sun Accounting, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience in manufacturing, retailing, international operations and international

Conduct periodic internal audit on 25 affiliates worldwide for compliance with HQ policies and proceduresAudit operational, administrative and accounting departments for each affiliate countryMake recommendations for improved performances based on audit findings and discuss proposed implementations with affiliate managersTrain and advise affiliates' managers on maximizing operational efficiency, implementing proper internal controls, and meeting management objectivesPrepare internal audit reports for both affiliates and headquarters. Conduct follow-up audits of affiliates to ensure resolution of previous audit findings of weaknesses and non-compliancesUndertake system studies as well as special assignments with the aim to improve overall effectiveness and smooth operation of the respective affiliates
