As Automation & Software Business Manager, I have overall management responsibility for functional strategy and execution; leading company’s strategic priorities and initiatives to grow and differentiate our Software and Control business and to advance the value we deliver to customers. This role drives execution and performance of our Architecture and Software commercial initiatives and will partner closely with the product management team to develop strategic commercial programs and business plans. In this role I’m leading five Technology Consultants.

Mexico

In this role, my main objectives were to establish a solid presence in the Mexican market for our offering of condition sensors, and our portfolio of machinery safety devices. Likewise, an important part of this role was designing training plans for Rockwell distributors and sales forces to increase our market share, which grew on average from 7% to 12% during these years. In this role I had the opportunity to lead 4 Technology consultants. In this position I had responsibility for the entire Mexican territory and the Central America region.

Mexico

This period was one of much learning, since I had the goal to support technical and commercial the business unit with the largest number of products, was quite challenging. I learned many things, one of the most important was to develop competitive teams within our distributors. In this role I coordinated with 8 product specialists who were not under my direct command and 2 Technology Consultants. In this position I had responsibility for the entire Mexican territory and the Central America region.

Mexico

This was my first position as product manager, in which I had the responsibility of promoting and developing our MCC’s business, which was a new product in the Mexican market, as well as training the distributors and Rockwell sales forces this was fundamental to evolve our business.

During these seven years I performed as a sales engineer, serving end users, such as: Grupo Modelo, Bimbo, Gates Rubber, etc. My main functions were to promote and increase sales of our different product portfolios, as well as to strengthen business relationships with those customers.
