- Maintain controls & SCADA visibility of 9 remote plants for critical utility production of steam, chilled water & heating hot water to Duke Univeristy Hosptial & Campus, with production of up to 50,000 tons of Chilled Water & 450 KPPH of steam. - Measure utility consumption for billing at over 120 buildings.- Direct calibration program of 900+ plant sensors and 1,000+ utility metering sensors.- Maintain & control process with Honey Well HC900 plc, Siemens Simatic plc, Siemens PXC ddc controllers, & Allen Bradley micro logic plc. - Daily interacation with ICONCIS SCADA for steam plants, & SIEMENS DESIGO / INSIGHT SCADA for Chilled Water & Heating Hot water plants.- Database mangment, alarm mangement, seting up trends, & point mapping for data quality.- Work with Project team to integrate new plants, retrofits, or new uitility tie in's at buidlings.

- Oversee the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly operation of combined cycle power plant: 2, 155 MW, GE 7FE natural gas turbine and 1, 250 MW Alstom steam turbine. - Operate all equipment related to generator, steam and gas turbines, and plant auxiliary equipment during routine, abnormal, and emergency conditions.- Troubleshoot and provides diagnosis to solve operational problems- Analyze trends on Ovations DCS to identify potential failures, and find cause of faults.- Oversee, manage, and direct contracted work.- Rack in/out 480V & 4160V breakers.- Perform disconnect on 235KV switch yard.- Perform Correct and Preventive maintenance.- Assisting in training new operators.- Maintain and update shift log book.- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, man basket, etc).- Monitor water chemistry, Water demineralizer, and reverse Osmosis filter daily for operation of Steam turbine.
