Senior Environmental Specialist
Current- Responsible for preparation of documents as well as training and development for plant personnel, in addition to responsibility for Luminant’s fleet asbestos notifications and asbestos compliance.
- Represented environmental group during Texas Commission of Environmental Quality plant inspections, as well as managed efficient communications with state reps from TCEQ regional and Austin offices.
- Accountable for participation in development, planning, and successful implementation of Risk Management Plan and Process Hazard Analysis for 3 Luminant facilities, in addition to assuming role of project lead in air.
- Charged with development of calculation and recordkeeping process for the generation and use of Discrete Emission Reduction Credits within power generating fleet, as well as preparation of TCEQ air emissions.
- Led analyzing of emission data, prepared and submitted regulatory air compliance reports, and participated in Acid Rain Allowance trading for TXU Energy while managing SO2 allowance accounts for 15 facilities.
- Facilitated the development and implementation of environmental air compliance reporting and data management programs to ensure facilities are in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
