As a Technical Specialist I'm responsible for building systems from component hardware and software to meet customer requirements, as well as providing technical support to customers. This position requires a general understanding of server, storage, and networking components. As a Technical Specialist I oversee ordered parts, serial numbered items, inventory, and defective items. Assist with inbound product for testing, break down to component level, and audit. This position works with the logistics, receiving, and shipping departments to ensure proper orders in a timely manner. I also coordinate with the sales department and order management to ensure configurations are accurate.

I started at Med X Change as a production technician. It was my job to ensure all computers built by the company were built perfectly, I had to fully set them up, test, repair and package them. I quickly became the assistant production manager and I held that title for four years. I then moved to the service department and became the Service manager. In this position I checked in units from the field and repaired them. Most of the time the units would come in with no complaint or one word complaints and I would have to figure out why these units were sent in and repair them as necessary. I also was the Tech support manager. I helped all other tech support techs and had to take the more intensive calls. We were on tech support 24/7. During my time at Med X Change I had to write SOPs, build troubleshooting guides, hire and train new employees, help R&D with software validations and other tasks as they came up. I managed many projects mostly dealing with root cause analysis and setting up departments, as we moved into a much bigger building after being there for awhile.

I updated a monthly E-Newsletter that dealt with new information in the pain management world. This was a very large newsletter because we would put in all sorts of medical information from new clinical trails, legislation, and all sorts of current medical news articles. This newsletter was read by over 160,000 doctors across the world.

My job consisted of diagnosing, fixing, upgrading and setting up computers. I also was the lead seller of our technology products we offered at Staples, this was measured by the amount of warranties we would sell with our products.

I was a paid tutor for three different people working in the programs Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and they all got pretty good at these programs. I am not currently working one on one with these three however they do still call me up and ask me how to do stuff from time to time.

I worked at the cash register checking out customers, get carts from outside, helped out in the bakery when need as well as the garden center.

It was my job to make sure people got into the right movie theater, clean up lobby and theaters, make sure the movie was playing right with good sound levels, and any extra stuff that people need help with.

I worked at my high school for a summer cleaning. It was my job and my teams job to clean all the rooms in the school.

It was my job to Stock all the shelves in both the Toy Box and Air Fun everyday from the months May-September. I also had to do inventory on all the items in both stores as well as the stuff not yet on the shelves. I entered all the items into the computer and put price tags on everything. I made a system in the storage by naming the shelves and putting in the computer where you can find any item in storage so if I was home for the day someone else could come down to storage and find it without calling me.
