I work full time as a Machine Learning Researcher in the Research and Development Center in Telecommunications(CPQD). I have been working in several projects in areas of Health, Agriculture. Recently I have been leading a team with graduate interns in projects such as TDAH diagnostics and Johnson & Johnson clients Churn prediction.I also work in a project of AIOT for predicting sleep disturbs and other diseases from wearable devices in a large population.

I work as a expert in data science and AI in general for a variety of projects. One of them was the forecasting of sales from industrial products, which I implemented and used several time series and machine learning algorithms.

I work in the development and research of a linguistic web app for Portuguese language. As a full stack, I developed both the back and front end of the application. The web application is being used to help children in the learning process of Portuguese linguistic.

I have worked on projects with the partnership of PUC-Rio and BTG with a team of specialists from both sides, in the development of a Purchase Classifier, Consume Forecasting and Knowledge Extraction from consumer data. - For the Purchase Classifier we developed a machine learning model that automatically classifies consumer transactions, improving the user experience with the mobile application.-For the Consumer Forecasting we researched and developed methods to predict consumer consumption with time series modelling methods and representation learning. -For Knowledge Extraction we built taxonomy trees from data of users to gain deep insight in their lifestyle and consumption pattern. As a machine learning researcher I worked on multiple data types, ranging from image, time series to textual data. I published articles on Webmedia about chatbots, one of them being the SucupiraBot, a chatbot for querying natural language questions about academic data.I also published articles in the area of computational entertainment, with works about Anime and Manga Face recognition.

I worked on a project with the partnership of Puc-Rio and Petrobras, in the research of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques for Geophysics tasks, such as seismogram quality classification. As a Graduate student at UFMA, I have worked on many projects at the LSDi laboratory for distributed systems and artificial intelligence research. The main focus of the research was EEG(Electroencephalogram), where I worked on developing neural networks for sleep disorder classification. Another focus was gaming research, wherein in one project I have developed and published a fighting game AI using Reinforcement Learning and Planning.
