Site visits and frequent face - to - face meetings. - Forecasting and monthly reporting- Control of component pricing and supplier price negotiations- Full responsibility of parts from concept and initial design to end of production.- Cross functional working with purchase counterparts, design, engineering, production control, finance, project management and economic control.- On - the - job training and experience in manufacturing processes and lean principles including JIT, on - site suppliers and 5S.
