I have been currently working on an R&D project electrifying a modern military vehicle with high voltage (HVDC) so that it may provide insight to the government on the feasibility of this application in the field.This includes: High voltage DC and low voltage/logic power distribution systems, Controller Area Network (CAN) busses, Local Interconnect Network.

Graded labs and homework based off mechanics and metallurgy, provided feedback, and held office hours. I was also given the opportunity to augment the flow train lab, by designing an orifice plate using an ASTM specification in lieu of a rotameter since it contributed to most of the pressure drop.

Responsible for grading labs using a self created rubric, providing feedback, and building a new lab for the program. The lab was coupled with a shop vac and PVC to measure pressure drops at various points, using different flow rates and observe what the total pressure loss was through a sharp edged reducer in the middle.

Part of a legacy capstone enterprise that was the first team to successfully 'hack' a Ryobi 30cc string trimmer by converting it from carbonated to electronic fuel injected, and use it as an engine for our monocoque in an attempt to create an ultra fuel efficient vehicle to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon.
