Assigned to the major and enterprise account team in northern EMEA. Directly assigned to global customers to not only drive positive business outcomes and adoption with Tanium, but also acting as a knowledgable technical consultant for my customers. While having a small number of large accounts of my own, I am also solution engineering at Tanium assigned as the technical owner for pre-sales opportunities, working alongside our sales organisation as a sales engineer. System Administrator assigned directly to a small team in the NOC in Cardiff, also known as the Ops Bridge. Here I worked as a senior directly managing and working with support technicians on every shift, responsible for decisions made and outcomes of each out of hours shift. Responsible for monitoring all infrastructure, backups and virtual machines across multiple data centres and the EVDC platform as a whole in the UK. This includes operating system layer and down troubleshooting to ensure Rackspace SLAs are met in time. This spans all areas of Windows features like IIS, Active Directory, Exchange, DFS and more. While applying ourselves in these areas we were also monitoring the network traffic we commonly found ourselves performing DDoS mitigation where we dealt with active attacks at massive scale (Tbps) on charities, public sector entities and more. Deep experience with multiple monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, EM7 and PRTG while continuing to apply my skills in Azure, exchange and tools like Dell iDRAC and HP iLo to manage unresponsive hosts.A big achievement during this time was completely redesigning the UK first line support’s shift processes for shift handover and ticket management. Scoped gaps in process and automated manual workflows resulting in increased reliability of response metrics and ensured customer tickets always had an owner despite support technicians working separate shifts.

Individually assigned to high priority incidents that have heavy business impact. Responsible for all technical aspects of these engagements; spear-heading ransomware attacks, and multiple incident response scenarios. In contrast to security work, also responsible for system and network architecture in these engagements. Managed MS Exchange on-premise deployments from Exchange 2010 - Exchange 2013 while also driving customers to a hybrid approach resulting in a lot of this moving to Exchange Online.

Working on government contracts as part of a service desk team of roughly 10 hand picked technical analysts. Used a variety of technologies including Airwatch, zScaler, ServiceNow, Okta SSO, O365 and Active Directory.Grew to a top performer on this team and created various powershell scripts to speed up administrating AD. Discovered and documented solutions for wide spread common issues to increase efficiencies across multiple lines of support and third parties.
