CurrentIn my current unique role I am responsible for:-• Weekly, monthly, yearly stock takes on key ingredients (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and alcoholic compounds.• The control and receipt of goods in including tankers, ingredients and 3rd party products.• The despatch of alcoholic beverages to 3rd parties including the HMRC legalities which require the use of E-Customs (Decartes) and CE2 (Customs & Excise) systems you generate the required paperwork for all our dispatches.• The management of all internal brown and white spirit movements managed through the Siemens PCS7 system and includes managing routes, CIP’ing required spirit flow lines and pre managing plan to ensure movements can occur from A to B.• The blending of base spirits to produce finished variants such as Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin, Tanqueray Mediterranean Orange and Smirnoff Black to name but a few. This includes the use of Miteco software programme combined with the Siemens PCS7 system to allow for a blending process to be performed.• Responsible for the creation of key complex plant Isolation Schedules and the implementation of plant isolations during shutdowns, breakdowns and periodic Pre-planned maintenance.• Hands on responsibility for the planning, implementation and reflection of all things continuous improvement by utilising the key Manufacturing Excellence techniques including 5S, Focussed Improvement, Teamwork and Visual Management.• Responsible for Vat planning to ensure process remains seem less and any conflicts are called out and addressed in a timely manner preventing downtime potentials.• Filtration of base spirits such as bourbons, whisky’s and rums using both the generic filtration method and also a chilled filtration method.
