I most recently instructed an introductory survey course on the history of early America, where I was responsible for creating all lectures, assignments, and assessments for a class of fifty students. In the past I have instructed a similar course in the history of the modern United States. I have also served as a teaching assistant for a variety of larger survey courses, including Western Civilizations, Early America, and Modern United States. As a teaching assistant I was responsible for leading three discussion sections of roughly 10-15 students each semester, where I facilitated discussions, created weekly quizzes, formulated writing assignments, and was fully responsible for assessing student work. As an undergraduate I also served as a teaching assistant for the Philosophy department's introductory logic course for two semesters. In this capacity I led weekly, mandatory review sessions to help students grasp the course material in various ways.

I mixed, shaped, and baked various European and American style breads and pastries.

I prepared baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, salads, and other assorted food items for sale in a small retail shop.

I prepared and packaged four varieties of soynut butter, for wholesale customers such as Whole Foods and Stop & Shop.

I was the head of the maintenance department, in the charge of maintaining a 123-room year-round hotel with over 80% daily occupancy. I implemented a preventative maintenance program and a safety committee. I managed 2-3 employees, and often co-managed the Housekeeping Department.
