-Chair of Committee on Student Services; Member of Committee on Student Organizations; Founding member of SGA Disability Caucus-Member of Student Dining Advisory Group, Hopkins Student Center Advisory Committee, Student Housing Advisory Group-Member of WSE Faculty Senate Committee on Technology in the Classroom, where I advised senior engineering faculty on student concerns regarding lecture recording and digital services; conducted an undergraduate-wide survey to gather student opinions and received over 200 responses-Created and implemented the first iteration of the Liaison Program to pair senators on the Student Services Committee with administrative departments to streamline SGA-admin communication and enhance the transparency of policy changes-Authored and introduced the SGA Abortion Access Resolution in wake of the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization; sent to the offices of Maryland state legislators and national representatives-Organized multiple $15K+ budget events for class formals, including Jay Gatsby and Sophomore Garden Party; additionally assisted with Jay Games (an event inspired by Netflix's Squid Game) and planned the Sophomore Sendoff in collaboration with the JHU Imagine Center

The Cross-Institutional Student Advisory Committee (CSAC), created in February 2023, is the chief student advisory committee of Johns Hopkins University, consisting of student government representatives from all 9 divisions of Hopkins at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.I serve as the co-chair on behalf of undergraduates for CSAC.• Authored CSAC’s inaugural guiding principles which serve as bylaws for the committee• Acted as the student representative on behalf of all undergraduates to Middle States, the commission that reviews JHU for reaccreditation.• Gave feedback to the President of JHU on JHU’s chief strategic framework, the Ten for One, that was incorporated into the final framework.• Introduced SGA’s Board of Trustees resolution to other student stakeholders at a meeting of CSAC

Investigated nuclear lamina proteins as part of the Wilson Lab in the Cell Biology department of Hopkins Medicine

Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Biodesign National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates (B^3 NSF-REU) Fellowship at CCNY-Investigated the allosteric inhibition of PTP1B, a type 2 diabetes-linked protein, through site directed mutagenesis in the lab of Dr. Daniel Keedy for 10 weeks-Rewrote and improved the lab’s existing SDM PCR procedure to significantly augment the success of Phusion Polymerase-driven PTP1B mutations.-Learned from talented faculty members across CCNY and from NSF staff through the fellowship

Researching ultrafast spectroscopy and photosensitive materials as a part of the Bragg Lab at Johns Hopkins University.

Engaged with college-level biochemistry problem sets, lectures, and literature for about 60 hours a week for 5 weeks; designed molecular inhibitor for date palm–targeting fungus Thielaviopsis Punctulata in a team of 3; co-authored 34-pg final report.

Cultivated cell cultures, performed fluorescent lifetime imaging (FLIM) analysis, assisted in sketching & constructing custom microscope capable of focusing two-photon and UV lasers on mouse skin cells, and kept a detailed lab notebook during my time with CU Biophysical Optics Research Group (BORG).
