TransCanada Pipelines Limited (TCPL) Leismer Compressor Station - 21 Million Original BudgetBrought on by Project Manager 5 month after Project Kickoff to assist with Schedule and Change Management. Reworked schedule to incorporate continuous shift and night shift in an effort to recover mechanical completion date. Managing daily cost entry and maintaining reporting using PRISM G2. Responsible for all project reporting, both internal and external. Working with change management specialist, generated and submitted over 100 change requests due to engineering changes or out of contract work. Maintaining execution schedule and turnover schedule, currently on track to achieve mechanical completion date.

Husky Enbridge Line 4/67 Terminal Expansion (Hardisty, AB) - 11 Million Original BudgetProject Controls lead for project entailing the installation of three 2800 HP Vertical Pumps along with all requisite piping and electrical work. Setup project budget in both Oracle JDE and PRISM G2. Created baseline schedule in Primavera P6 and maintained/updated execution schedule through out project lifespan. Created and executed all Contract Change Management (15%) to ensure positive margin expectations. Created and Maintained Field Installation Work Packages for construction use and assisted QC in RFI process on site. During last two month of project (Nov/Dec), role was that of onsite contractor representative; responsible for direct communications with client regarding all cost/schedule/change management issues. Successfully delivered mechanical completion and in service date according to contractual targets.

Shell Carmon Creek (Peace River, AB) - 340 Million Original BudgetLead cost controller assigned to 340 million dollar project. Responsible for all client deliverables using PRISM G2. Collaborated with work face planning to ensure all Field Work Packages have correct cost coding and progress tracking codes. Setup and maintained all daily progress reports and weekly cost reports. Working with estimating, finalized complete estimate for contract approval and budget setup according to Shell SAP WBS requirements. Project was put on hold per Shell instruction, responsibilities became that of the Project Controls Lead. Closed out PC for the project both on site and in the home office.

Statoil Canada (SCL) Cheecham Terminal Expansion (Anzac, AB) - 35 Million Original BudgetBrought on by Project Manage as Project Controls Specialist 10 month after project kickoff. Successfully worked with existing Project Controls personnel to push through 7+ million in change management which had been outstanding for 90+ days. Working closely with the client (SCL), provided justification for outstanding change management through critical path schedule analysis, scope growth, and cost evaluation. For remaining duration of the project (6 month), was the sole PC personnel on site, managing all cost (PRISM G2), schedule (Primavera P6) and change management generation and reporting.

Statoil Canada (SCL) Wellpad 5 (Conklin, AB) - 13 Million Original BudgetGathered weekly financial and schedule data to create cost reports as well as financial projections. Using PRISM G2, generated client reporting for weekly deliverable meeting. Created and managed all change management on site with 40% scope growth (5 million change on 13 million)Controlled cost management system (PRISM G2) with supervision to ensure all additional cost to contract is captured and approved. Created and maintained Oracle Primavera P6 schedule for critical path scheduling method. Oversaw successful completion of project with 0% safety record and 40% project growth through change managment.

Statoil Canada (SCL) Pipeline (Conklin, AB) - SchedulerCreate and maintain baseline and progress schedule in Primavera P6 with input from URS and SCL managers. Produce weekly and monthly progress reports detailing completed activities for SCL. Generate cost reports for URS internal review and analysis. Create and manage change orders to accurately out of scope capture costs. Successfully graduated from URS Flint's Management training program.

Estimating Department (Edmonton, AB)Piping: Review isometrics and P&IDs for material and fittings takeoff. Gather quantities for material requisition and analysis. Built crew based on past ROP and create manpower estimate.Civil: Material takeoff based on general arrangements. Concrete and civil takeoff. Equipment utilization analysis. Creating and managing RFQ list of subcontractors and suppliers.

EnCana Kiwigana Compressor Project (Fort Nelson, BC)QA/QC department: responsible for RFI and NCR creation; tasked with researching and writing the documents for engineering review; coordinating with construction to ensure proper response to RFIs; Building and completing full piping and structural turnover packages to client specifications.Project Controls: Assisted scheduler and cost controller; gathering information for schedule delays; creating and justifying CCRs using schedule and manpower available; created and edited shift report.Administration: Creating daily time tickets for all workers on site; ensuring correct coding to time to appropriate CWPs; maintaining communication with superintendent for accurate time entry.
