I Manage a team of 50+ employees at StandardAero Heli Component Services to deliver high-value repair solutions to support the repair and overhaul of helicopter components. I am responsible for day-to-day operations to ensure that the shop is running at optimal efficiency and production commitments are met. I also manage the environmental, health and safety initiatives to ensure that safe work practices are in place and drive our vision for an environmentally responsible organization and reduce the environmental impacts of StandardAero's products, services and processes.

Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and equipment and the improvement and optimization of current processes. Areas of expertise include thermal spray, etching and metallographic analysis, mechanical testing, vacuum furnace brazing, welding, heat treatment, specialty coatings, selective plating, NDT and cleaning. Design of innovative new repairs for the refurbishment of aeronautic components.Implementation and validation of new repairs and first articles.Accomplishments- Enhanced the productivity, capability, and quality of the production shops by recommending and managing the execution of over $1.5M of capital expansion projects for equipment and process improvements (various project budgets ranging from $10K-1M).- Managed the development of dozens of Repair and Special Process approvals through multiple rounds of projects across multiple production departments resulting in successful qualifications. ($500K budget)- Designed 18 Transport Canada repairs through the DAO, including 13 RDC/RDA. - Obtained approvals for dozens of repairs and processes through OEM audits and first articles.
