Conducted policy analysis and initial design of homelessness prevention-oriented initiatives spanning numerous entities that service homeless and at-risk clients in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A highlight of this experience was the opportunity to give guest lectures in undergraduate-level State and Local Government & Public Policy Analysis courses. I taught the social dimension of sustainability as embedded in: (1) natural resource use and land use planning, such as zoning and economic incentives administered by all levels of government; (2) questions of social inequity and unsustainable conditions (ex.: homelessness and/or domestic violence; unsustainable development in water-scarce regions); (3) in-depth costs of community development and examination of the supply and demand dynamics related to local development; and (4) costs incurred on regulatory agencies and authorities, such as infrastructure finance and capital planning; and Western water rights.
