Since my departure from WHS, I have continued teaching dual-credit courses to their students through Carl Sandburg Colleges. I currently teach one course each semester, but now that my Masters is finished, I may pick up more courses. I teach fully online, leveraging my mathematical and technological skills to create rigorous and engaging lessons.

During my time at ESC, I had opportunities to gain experience in many areas. The majority of my time was spent analyzing large, interesting datasets containing student/school demographic and performance data, but I was also able to write tests and documentation for the company's proprietary software.

I worked for four summers as a resident advisor in an Upward Bound program. While in this position, I was responsible for the supervision of about 30 at-risk high school students during a summer dorm experience. This involved establishing and enforcing dorm policies, planning and supervision of nightly activities, and one-on-one mentoring with several students.
