Worked with a child who is on the autism spectrum disorder (ASD).1 to 1 therapy mainly focused on changing behaviour and language development.Interventions would be adjusted to the child's needs. This was based on child behaviours and skill development

Working and travelling in various areas like Halifax, Huddersfield, Heckmondwike, Elland, Brighouse, Bradford and Leeds.This involved providing individuals with much-needed additional support. Some needs included meal preparation, changing clothes, helping with morning or bed routines, or simply conversing and helping the client's mental well-being.Clients had different mental and physical needs. If clients had an incapacity of decision-making, carers would enable them to carry on by providing essential support.Support may be due to illnesses like dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other effects caused by having a stroke. Accidents may cause physical disability, which we would help clients with.Clients were dominantly elderly, and this was a home care job role.The information would be tracked on machines; for example, if the medication was refused or there appeared to be out-of-date information, this would be recorded and communicated with the managers.

This involved working in a team in the cafe and independently as a baker.This included cooking meals, making hot drinks, washing up, tidying tables, and cleaning out the coffee machine and oven in the cafe.Working in the cafe included high-stress levels. Due to the limited number of staff, we had to work efficiently and quickly to deal with queuing times.Tidying away all used items as they were cleaned.As a baker, this included starting at 6 a.m. to prepare baked goods for the shopping opening time of 7:30 a.m. By approximately 9 a.m., the bakery shelves would be restocked, and the freezer would then need organizing.Organising the freezer included tidying away cages and date checking. This enabled us to know which items were scheduled to be baked when the prior stock sold. All used goods were tracked on a machine.Communication was another key part of this role. The baker on the last shift had to prepare for the next day for whoever was on the next shift. This often included writing notes to each other so that we were aware of a piece of information from the previous day.A skill I learnt from this was noticing customer patterns. Timings of when particular customers came in for repeated goods they would always come in for. This allowed me to increase the bakery output and increase the sales of goods.

We assist customers with enquiries, including checking for stock, whether we sell a particular item, and opening and closing times.Working on the till included processing the shopping and conversing with customers.Restocking shelves and date checking were time-sensitive as other jobs were also to be completed.Re-allocating stock from one part of the shop to another in order to increase sales of particular items.Tidying included ensuring that all the products were where they were supposed to be and that the items were presentable.Working in a team was also important. During busier times, we all had a part to play in ensuring the shop's functionality thrived.Effective communication enabled customer satisfaction, on one occasion, I received employee of the month due to an outstanding report that a customer had said about me.Dealing with stress was another part of the job. Particularly at Christmas time, the shop's business incrementally increased. This was dealt with by effectively working continuously and having well-structured breaks.
