➢ Administrative assistant to the Director of Public Services➢ Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of policies and procedures ➢ Collaborate with Public Services Divisions to research and implement best practices to ensure efficiency in workflow while keeping citizen perspective in mind.➢ Public Information Officer that coordinates and responds to the media and/or interest groups➢ Develop and implement communication strategies ➢ Gather, compile, and analyze data related to the operations of Public Services

➢ Perform duties of a Planner and;➢ Provides technical instruction to planners and other staff in area of specialization;➢ Schedules, coordinates, collects, assembles and prepares data, projections and reports;➢ Investigates agency referrals and public complaints associated with all Land Use and Critical Area Codes;➢ Design, direct and conduct code enforcement inspection and enforcement program;➢ Performs or assists with a broader range of professional planning tasks.

➢ Research and perform analysis on critical areas/shorelines, SEPA, subdivision and zoning projects➢ Use GIS coverage for project assignments➢ Prepare decisions based on analyses to be approved by department➢ Provide policy and technical assistance to the public and other agencies regarding plans, ordinances, standards and administrative codes that govern land development➢ Determine completeness of development applications and prepares notices to the public and affected agencies➢ Assist Senior Planners and managers in the review of development projects➢ Facilitates in meetings, group discussions, forums and open houses

➢ Develop and implement campus-wide leadership and humanitarian initiatives➢ Design and implement custom leadership workshops for student organizations, campus departments, and community groups➢ Advise and help manage risk for 21+ fraternities and sororities and governing councils➢ Maintain recognition agreements between the University and Greek Community chapters➢ Collaborate with campus and community partners to provide educational programming for the Greek Community in the areas of alcohol/drug education, hazing prevention, sexual assault, and professional development➢ General resource consultant for individuals/organizations requiring information on program planning, organization recruitment and retention, and conflict resolution➢ Review and manage student organization event requests➢ Create quarterly evaluations of the programs and events planned by the department➢ Maintain and improve online presence for leadership programs
