My experience in a fluid dynamics research lab allowed me the opportunity to research the underlying physical principles of hydropower. I did this by designing, running two experiments. The first showed the forces of moving water on a blade (like a wind turbine blade). This provides insight into possible tidal and river-based forms of hydropower.The second was the motion of an underwater pendulum which conveyed how underwater and floating platforms may harness wave power. These experiences allowed me to sharpen my Python coding skills and break into the world of AI by using OpenCV.

In this role, I undertook an independent project to discover metals for experimental solar cells. This project expanded into an in-depth, data-driven analysis of transition metals and their properties. In the end, my analysis conveyed insight into thousands of overlooked chemical structures.Moreover, my hard work resulted in a publication in the Journal of Chemistry Education. This is a notable achievement for an undergraduate. It showcases my abilities in data analysis, Python coding, and my dedication to renewable energy technology.

I had to honor to serve the people of El Salvador by helping improve their healthcare and education infrastructure. I organized and executed 4 medical campaigns providing impoverished people with healthcare and medication during three-day, pop-up medical campaigns. I coordinated and managed funding for 8 humanitarian aid projects providing construction materials and medical supplies.My team and I founded a youth program “Crecimiento de los Jovenes” providing students in El Salvador with pathways to careers and higher education effectively combating poverty and gang participation. I had many experiences and opportunities many didn't know were possible and I'm thankful for each one of them.
