Recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina Asheville. I have recently completed an eight-month actuarial internship at Tokio Marine HCC, a leading specialty insurance group. My core competencies include information technology, data modeling, and Microsoft Power BI.As an actuarial intern, I worked with a team of experienced actuaries and analysts to support the pricing, reserving, and reporting functions of the company. I applied my skills in data analysis, programming, and statistics to develop and maintain actuarial models, tools, and reports. I also contributed to the improvement of the data quality and efficiency of the processes. I have previous experience as a student tutor and an operations manager at FedEx Express, where I demonstrated my ability to communicate complex concepts, manage multiple tasks, and cooperate with diverse stakeholders. I am motivated by learning new things, solving challenging problems, and making a positive impact.
