- Worked and lived in a small village of Ewe people where I served as a Sustainable Agriculture Educator.- Taught Agriculture and Life Skills classes to students ranging from ages 9-16. Class sizes ranged from 50-86 students. Topics include gardening, small animal husbandry, reproductive health, money management, nutrition, career planning, trash.

I led a team of 6 volunteers as we traveled the country and worked on community-based, service projects by partnering with local governments and non-profits. I served as a role model, facilitator, and educator for my team. My team served at:- the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo, Iowa- a Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Site in Louisville, Kentucky- a YMCA.

My role as the Advocates for Equity Lead Intern was to run a learning community of undergraduate men to learn about gender inequity issues and how to be allies to women. I planned events and workshops devoted to ally training, created marketing plans, supported and engaged with women in technology. I also wrote blogs and created videos that center around.

Throughout my time as a RA, I helped first-year university students transition into the college atmosphere. During the summer of 2018, I interned at the Kelley School of Business as a Data and Networks Research Assistant. I reviewed the fillings that middle-market companies made with the Securities and Exchange Commission. I inputted data into excel, coded for key words and phrases using Stata software, and helped edit research articles up for review.
