Conduct prompt and thorough investigations, evaluate facts, and render determinations, including compensability and medical determinations. Consult with TPA's, contractors and lawyers in the evaluation of a claim. Continuously analyze case facts and monitor activities in order to identify possible fraud and/or abuse, and/or third party liability throughout the course of the claim. Review reports from counsel, photographs, written and audio statements. Consider relevant costs and benefits of potential actions to choose most appropriate strategy to resolve the claim. Where appropriate, handle legal issues requiring little input from defense attorney. Negotiate with the claimant to settle claims. Work with Property and Auto insurance carriers to resolve all company claims.

Coordinate all business office functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Collections. Supervise forty-five staff members including hiring, training, disciplining and terminations. Oversee all operations of the community in the absence of the administrator which includes, but is not limited to, overseeing all departments to make sure that they are all in compliance with Oregon's ALFA regulations. Resolve any resident or resident family members concerns, coordinate resident's care and work with outside agencies to provide excellent care and services to our residents.

Provide direct resident care. Manage all functions of the front desk including answering phones, filing, faxing, copying, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Collections and Payroll. Assist with hiring, training, disciplining and termination of employees. Assist the Administrator in coordinating resident care and working with residents, families and outside vendors to provide quality care and services.
