I am currently 28 years old. I am married with 2 children. I am employed full time with the Merrimac Police Department where I have worked for 6 years as a Dispatcher/9-1-1 Operator for Police/Fire/EMS. Since 2015 I have also been employed as a Reserve Police Officer with the Groveland Police Department. Both jobs have helped me grow as an individual and act on my desire to help other people and scratch that itch of problem solving and in a sense the customer service aspect that I've improved upon throughout the past 10 years. My first job was a Sales Clerk at Market Basket of which we were pushed everyday to improve customer interactions and service. I have carried that drive to help people as best I can and deliver the highest quality of service to my daily interactions with the residents and all persons I interact with in the towns I serve. My time with retail sales and the knowledge gained of personal interactions has been invaluable to my career in Law Enforcement, and I know that it will carry on throughout my life no matter what avenue I approach. I truly believe my strongest skill will always be my ability to speak with people and to gain their attention and respect, and to just be generally approachable. This has led to improved interactions in my Law Enforcement career and allowed for persons to open up to me in a manner in which they would not with other Officers. I have also had an avid interest in history and firearms since I was a young boy, carrying over into my career and giving me a deep fundamental understanding of a multitude of weapon platforms and their functions. I enjoy working hands on and helping people work together for the best outcome, and as stated continue to improve myself through new training and experience. I consider myself an open and unfinished book, always thriving for new knowledge to add in.
