Hi there, my name is Jacob (or Jake) and I work at Target as an Executive Team Leader of Service and Engagement. I was previously a Team Member with the company for about two years before I applied for the Executive Team Leader internship through Michigan State University and assumed the role after graduating in December of 2022.A typical day in my role involves great customer service, team development, business analysis, and proactive planning. These are achieved successfully by writing supported schedules, creating quarterly routines and goals surrounding the guest experience, and clear communication amongst my peers and team.My previous job experience include food service management at Dairy Queen, promotion of local news and events via social media and television with HOMTV in Meridian Township, and human resource administrative duties as a Conduct Assistant with Michigan State Residential and Hospitality Services.I strive to keep learning the ins-and-outs of any role I take on. Crafting attainable goals and achieving them through strategic planning and communication is where I get the most satisfaction through my work.
