I brought a home study course and began traveling writing in earnest. First article published in Aprilof 2015. Progress was slow until I attended a three-day travel writing course put on by Great Escape Publishing. This class launched my writing career with almost twenty published oraccepted articles in the three months following the course. Websites GoNomad.com andtrip101.com published the bulk of these paid articles while www.travelpostmonthly.com,Davestravelcornercom and www.epicuren-traveler.com picked up other stories of mine. AlaskaMagazine has accepted one article of mine due to be published in their June issue. Now that I'm almost done with my first year of full-time travel and food writing I have over 60 published or accepted articles. Travel writing rocks!Update.
