I was seconded into this role to work on the NEOM ‘The Line Project’, where I was focused on establishing & leading the IT team purposed on delivering & supporting IT operations including several critical business systems with a growing team of 60+ staff.My Responsibilities and key Achievements to date include:o Leading the Service Delivery of 5 large scale IT Infrastructure projects including full vendor managemento Managing a Programme to deliver a Situational awareness platform comprising of Computer Vision, IOT – in order to monitor several use cases including construction Progress, Safety & vehicle tracking to capture & analyse data & flag issueso Formulating a strategy to deliver & implement a Global Delivery Environment for Engineering Systemso I also developed & implemented the full suite of internal IT operations policies & procedures. This was achieved in a period of 8 months & included recruiting to build the team. Results included having clear working practices & transparencyo I successfully set up (from strategy to execution) IT Services scope for a number of internal facilities & across various (approx. 5) ongoing projects, whilst developing the overall budget & ensuring connectivity, resilience & business continuity were considered. I personally managed the team that created technical scope of work. The average project size included 12 buildings holding 700 staff members acting as the support office buildings for the NEOM staff which was on track to be completed mid-2024

In this role I was focused on leading two portfolios, firstly acting as the Senior Programme Director for the Engineering Digital Transformation & secondly leading the Engineering Systems Operations for the MEA Region.My Key Responsibilities and Achievements included:o Leading a team of 5 Engineering Systems specialists, supporting over 4,000 users across the MEA region o Playing a key role in the development of a Corporate Engineering Digital Transformation Strategy in coordination with other Business groupso Leading the engagement in Proposals with Engineering Systems requirements through review of RFPs & establishing relevant systems, platforms, Execution strategy & vendor contractso Developing strategies for the growth of the operating Engineering Systems in the regiono Leading the development of an ‘Engineers Work From Anywhere’ (EWFA) strategy in coordination with other functional teams o I also led the certification process to achieve BSI ISO19650 accreditation from a Systems & Security perspective, a 4month project where I personally led the internal IT Operations, Cyber Security & HR teams from an information gathering perspectiveo I designed & implemented a customised version of the Scaled Agile methodology to execute the Digital Transformation programmeo I also initiated & led the 2018 ongoing project to implement a training strategy to roll out Engineering Digital Transformation to the broader Engineering User Community, thereby improving overall staff efficiency (for over 3,000 staff)o I developed & executed a strategy for establishing the Regional Centre of Excellence for Automation for Engineering for the region achieving 15-20% labour savings (man hours) on project implementationso I also transformed the Level 1, 2 & 3 support models for the region, enhancing the coordination between several teams to achieve quicker & more efficient support closures, thereby bringing in an improved staff efficiency of 25%

In this role my main focus was managing key IT Infrastructure related projects, implementing several solutions & establishing design centres & project offices across MEA Region.My Key Responsibilities and Achievements included:o Managing the Project Management Office (PMO) for the MEA regiono Leading the development of major IT Proposals & Execution Strategies Evaluating & responding to RFPs related to ICT Projects, offering solutionso Managing the overall process for the creation, execution of IT budget for MEA IS Operations, Initiatives & Strategic projectso Ensuring technical delivery excellence for all IT Infrastructure projects in the International Region, conducting feasibility studies for technology initiativeso Formulating Service & Support policies & established Business Continuity Plans & procedureso I also led the Implementation of Parsons's Proprietary solution for Asset Management in the Client’s IT ecosystem, leading all technical aspects (infrastructure), managing the budget & vendor relationship where I successfully negotiated a saving of 30% whilst ensuring quality of service was maintainedo I developed & implemented a Zero Downtime Infrastructure Solution for Computers & Storage across several Parsons offices in the MEA region, establishing a resilient & stable environmento I also conducted Due Diligence & established IT Operations from the ground up including Vendor relationships in the new countries Parsons was looking to operate in (KSA, Kuwait, etc..). From a standing start, this included building relationships with 5 new vendors, a process taking 6mths & growing the IT team to 20, therefore enabling the new business won to be effectively deliveredo I developed a Performance Enhancement Programme for Project Managers to improve their skills & acumen. As the IT PMO team leader, I successfully mentored & coached the team leading to improvement several areas including budget control, communications & negotiation skills
