Working within Drax's Wholesale Market Compliance team I provide compliance advisory, guidance, and direction to the group's energy and financial trading desks, in addition to Risk, Generation and Project teams. I provide the group with second line assurance that all energy and financial trading activities are in line with physical and financial trading.

• Performing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Client (KYC) research on 80 non-SME clients, as part of the bank’s Anti Money Laundering (AML) process; allowing Lloyds to comply to money laundering regulations.
• Developed deep subject matter expert knowledge surrounding Anti Money Laundering and the processes in place to mitigate this risk.
• Taking ownership of 3 bespoke review projects, liaising with internal stakeholders to define an agreed upon approach and managing the projects to completion.
• Managing and maintaining 15 concurrent in-flight reviews of non-SME commercial banking clients.
• Analytical skills and a strong attention to detail when reviewing information gathered from multiple internal and external sources.
• Evaluating risk posed to the bank, in line with the group’s policy and risk appetite, then escalating the risk to the appropriate team.
