I've worked several positions at the Boxford Animal Hospital. This clinic is owned by my parents, Dr. James Tanner and Dr. Carolyn Clegg. I mostly assisted while on semester breaks, filling in when staff members were on vacations. I was responsible for restraining animals, preparing prescriptions and vaccines, as well as general tidiness of the clinic. I've also spent 40+ hours of veterinary shadowing at the Boxford Animal Hospital.

I am responsible for opening and closing the museum, daily accounting, and assisting customers. My day mostly consists of answering shark and conservancy related questions. I love being able to help educate everyone on the importance of not only sharks, but the marine ecosystem as a whole.

While studying abroad I did an internship under Dr. Lahrech. I assisted the technicians in restraining animals, administered vaccines, general tidiness of the clinic, and observed many surgeries. Dr. Lahrech works on small animal pets as well as stray dogs and cats. The doctor and his team did not speak English; giving me the opportunity to use my French skills as well as expand my French vocabulary.

I was responsible for daily accounting, opening and closing the store, placing orders and unpacking them, assisting customers, and general tidiness of the shop. Providing quality customer service was of the up most importance during my time at Yellow Umbrella Books. I worked closely with the owner, Eric Linder, to assist customers in finding good quality used books at a decent price; which can be difficult at times.
