 Manage and hedge congestion risk for six members and customers Financial transmission product experience and training in the PJM and CAISO markets, as well as working closely with the Transmission Team to analyze the MISO, SPP and ERCOT markets.  Analyzing physical transmission for portfolios outside of ISOs. Stay up-to-date and report on new transmission and generation builds Conduct LMP pricing effects on new generation sites and new transmission build projects Run power flow model PROMOD to forecast LMPs Analyze long-term congestion risk and pricing Write 136 recommendations per year for clients to review financial transmission hedging strategies Submit bids and offers for financial transmission products to ISO portals on behalf of clients for monthly, balance of the year, annual and long-term auctions and allocations Create presentations for various audiences on a range of topics, including explaining fundamentals financial transmission products, annual hedging strategy, past congestion performances, and updates on the grid conditions. Provide weekly transmission outage and congestion updates to traders Write quarterly transmission build project updates and commodity pricing forecasts to provide to members and customers.

 Trading experience and training in PJM, MISO, ERCOT, SPP, and CAISO markets.  Manage 5 portfolios hourly to ensure optimization of each by monitoring generation, load forecasting and management, monitoring generation, weather, prices and transmission issues, energy tagging and transmission reserving, and ISO portal interaction; including creating own load forecasting spreadsheets Trade power to manage load and generation; complete over 600 trades per year with 99% deal-capturing accuracy rating (above company policy) Comply with all NERC ERO standards, as well as company policies and standards; Properly document established regulatory and reliability events using trader logs Utilize systems, such as OATI, Citrix, Allegro, nMarket, Excel, market portals, SCADA systems, Einstein, Interaction Client, and Outlook, to conduct hourly duties
