Designed an off-grid guyed wind turbine system for a secondary school in Ghana. Worked with local government as well as local and American companies to obtain permitting and materials. Hired local labor to construct anchors and battery housings and assisted in construction. Created a detailed manual to guide the installation process. Taught physics and math classes and designed a science curriculum with hands-on lessons involving the wind turbine.

Hong Kong, China

Researched and proposed a workflow for implementing a super-resolution (increased apparent resolution) integrated circuit for use in Internet enabled LCD TVs. Implemented the automatic image noise reduction module of the workflow in software (MATLAB) using pixel statistic-based image texture recognition with a bilateral filter. Worked closely with other members of the super-resolution team to optimize connections between the modules of the workflow.
