Jade Gibbs is a dedicated film student at the School of Cinematic Arts, pursuing a major in Cinema and Media Studies complemented by a minor in Italian. Her unwavering goal is to establish herself as a dynamic Film & and TV executive producer.With a strong passion for community impact, Jade has taken on influential roles both on and off campus. She demonstrated exceptional leadership as the President of Teen H.Y.P.E. (Helping Youth By Providing Education), a non-profit organization committed to enlightening inner-city youth about substance abuse, health wellness education, and readiness skills through the compelling medium of performing arts.Jade's impressive journey includes being an alumna of Cass Tech, where she notably steered the Creative Direction of Cass Tech’s High Fashion Society and held the esteemed position of President at the Cinema Club. Her commitment to personal and professional growth led her to become an alumna of Midnight Golf, a non-profit institution fostering networking prowess and professional acumen in high school seniors alongside the game of golf.Currently, Jade continues to leave an indelible mark on her academic community. As a co-fundraising chair for the African American Cinema Society, and a dedicated member of USC's Art/Emis, and USC's NAACP, she exemplifies her dedication to fostering inclusivity and promoting diverse narratives.Driven by her academic pursuits, Jade is steadfast in her mission to amplify the representation of underrepresented communities. Through her ongoing studies and initiatives, she plans to reshape the narrative and bring recognition to communities that deserve a larger voice on a global stage.
