I participated in a collaborative project between Samsung Electronics and the Sports Foundation of Korea. The project's primary objective was to develop a more accurate and valid wearable accelerometer system for manual wheelchair users.During this project, I conducted over 100 field tests for over 70 adult manual wheelchair users. These activities included moderate to vigorous exercises and were carried out using a variety of wearable accelerometers and metabolic system. My team developed analysis software to data clean and visualize key metrics, providing a comprehensive evaluation of different wearable accelerometers among manual wheelchair users.The Exciting Parts: - Working with cutting-edge testing devices such as the K5 Wearable Metabolic System and the electric wheelchair treadmill, as well as developing software that is not yet publicly available.- Comparing the Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, Polar, Garmin.- Receiving lessons from Paralympic Gold Medalist Hong Suk-Man on tricks to tilt back the wheelchair and stand on two wheels.

Developed a foundational EC2 web app with a sleek React frontend and secure token-authenticated backend, setting a benchmark for future intern projects. Innovated a robust AWS IoT Core authentication protocol with Lambda, elevating device communications and system security.

As a member of Special Operations Team of Seoul Air Base, I worked directly under the Wing Commander and completed over 500 operations. Missions included ensuring security protocols and procedures, military policing, and escorting VIPs such as leaders of the US, Korea, Spain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar. I also worked as the administrative clerk for a troop of over 150 military police soldiers. Responsibilty included creating and maintaining detailed schedules for all soldiers, working with officers to educate new soldiers on security protocols and field manuals. No, I did not fly any planes :(
