In-house counsel at Netflix for over 4 years (this is in addition to prior role at Netflix--see below). Held a pivotol role within the Games Legal group for the launch of the Netflix Games initiative, with a focus on (a) Transmedia, and (b) Business Development. Deep experience in licensing and production of content for the streaming platform (film, series, games and music). Extensive experience negotiating and drafting complex agreements with major studios, as well as music creators, video game publishers and developers.

• Served immigration clients in Atlanta metro area, including all matters related to citizenship and naturalization, deportation and adjustment of status. Represented clients in administrative hearings and court appearances.• Served as outside counsel for Netflix in the structuring, drafting, and reviewing of license agreements for the acquisition of content from studios, distributors, and other content creators. Provided guidance related to content licensing, strategic deal structuring and territory-specific support.

Transactional role as in-house counsel at Netflix, specializing in international regions (Latin America and Europe). Deep experience in licensing and production of content for the streaming platform (film, series, and music). Negotiated and drafted complex agreements with major studios, as well as in-region / local producers and distributors (e.g., Televisa, Telemundo, Banijay). As a manager, hired and built teams to execute on all Netflix business and legal strategies and goals.

In partnership with the Acquisitions department for Turner's Latin American division, negotiated, reviewed and drafted license agreements for the acquisition of content from major studios and distributors for the exhibition of programming via basic pay television networks such as TNT, Cartoon Network and TBS throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Worked cross-functionally with Acquisitions, Marketing, Content Operations and Finance in fast-paced environment to achieve the best possible experience for our subscribers and business partners. Analyzed business initiatives, projects and issues in order to provide risk assessment as well as business and legal guidance. In addition, headed the implementation of Turner's "TV Everywhere" platforms from the legal perspective and created and updated tools used in the rights management for video-on-demand playout.

Represented SunTrust and JPMorgan in structured finance transactions. Drafting of contracts and loan documents for commercial real estate transactions. Conducting commercial real estate closings; lease reviews; title commitment work; and survey reviews. Drafting of other legal documents as necessary while maintaining a high level of client interaction.
