While in law school, I was a summer clerk at Burch & Cracchiolo and joined the firm in 2000. I graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa, College of Law in 1999, where I was a student editor of the Iowa Law Review. Following graduation from the University of Iowa, I clerked for Justice Stanley Feldman of the Arizona Supreme Court.I received a degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. Upon graduation from Berkeley, I designed and installed landscapes in Santa Barbara, California. I continue to enjoy gardening despite Arizona’s lack of the traditional gardening prerequisites of water and soil. I have an extensive backyard vegetable garden, many fruit trees, and a couple of chickens. I enjoy yoga, playing chess, and reading fiction and history.
