Driven by a resolve to address healthcare gaps, I channel my analytical background into confronting inefficiencies and disparities plaguing the US healthcare system. I am saddened by the contrast in life expectancies across racial lines in this country. During my tenure at Deloitte, I dove deeply into health equity strategy and analytics for providers and public health institutions. For example, I managed the analytics team for a state Public Health Department’s Vaccine Equity Initiative. During a recent internship for Oak Street Health, I authored a data-to-action playbook to reduce avoidable hospital admissions for vulnerable patients.Currently I am pursuing an MBA at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management where I lead the Business of Healthcare Conference team. In this role, I aim to create conversations that engage, energize, and connect healthcare industry leaders.In my free time, you can find me smoking meats. I enjoy making barbecue so much that in 2022, I launched a craft barbecue pop-up event series in New York City.
