Working in the Transportation and Infrastructure Division of STV in the Mechanical Department. Tasks include general MEP AutoCAD & Revit work such as creating and reviewing engineering documents before going out for construction. Along with creating plans, I also went on site visits to verify field conditions. On a site visit, I was able to identify differences from the as-built plans and the field conditions which allowed STV to correct the plans and save time in construction. I contributed to a team investigating the Commuter Rail train delays by analyzing large amounts of data in excel and generating reports of the most impactful delays. The local Transit Authority used this data to improve their maintenance work and eliminate the most "rider-impacted" causes of delay.

Daily tasks include AutoCAD drafting, reviewing completed AutoCAD drawings, reviewing specifications, meetings and updating records for the most recent Code. The scope of the mechanical department at STV includes Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection in transportation and infrastructure facilities all across New England. I have attended meetings with clients to record the discussion along with a written report following the meeting including action Items to be completed by each company at a later date. I also have on-site experience at current projects and witnessed STV's engineering design being implemented in the construction phase.
