Actuarial (May 2019 - November 2019): Worked as part of the Actuarial Modeling team on various tasks including the creation of machine learning models using XGBoost, evaluating open source technologies, writing a fuzzy matching tool with Python/Pandas/Numpy/Fuzzywuzzy to aid with matching large data sets, and designing an approach to deploy models to AWS using GitLab and Docker.Workflow Manager (November 2018 - May 2019): Worked as part of a small team on an initiative to rebuild a legacy tool built in Microsoft Access, known as Workflow Manager, as a web application using Angular 2 and .NET Core Web API. I also set up a CI/CD pipeline through GitLab that would build, test, and deploy the application to AWS ECS.Enterprise Architecture (May 2018 - November 2018): Worked as part of a small team that was tasked with creating a proof-of-concept policy administration system based on Ethereum Blockchain technology. This project involved the use of various technologies including Truffle, MetaMask, AWS, Go Ethereum (geth), React, Node, Express, and many others. This project was presented to Erie Insurance IT SVPs and IT directors.Test Automation (Nov. 2017 - May 2018): Worked as part of an effort to move hundreds of tests from HP Quality Center to a Java/Selenium based test project. My main contribution to this project was designing a system that would allow for rapid test creation by abstracting technicalities from test creators and allow them to focus solely on implementing tests rather than dealing with the system. During this project, I also created POMs and had the chance to implement tests.

Personal Lines Tech - DSpro Web (2017): Worked as a web developer on the DSpro Web project, a system used by agents to deliver quotes to customers. I created admin tooling that allowed the QA testers to move through the workflow more quickly, clear server farm caches through the application, and added the ability to use admin functionality without the developer needing to leave the page they were working on.IT Operations - Business Infrastructure Engineering & Delivery (2016 - 2017): Wrote a data retrieval system that would grab data from disparate sources (CSV, SQL server, Oracle DB) and compiled them all into a single SQL Server database. This system was created to support an operations dashboard to empower directors by making data-driven decisions. This system has continued to be supported by IT Apprentices.

My duties included collecting requirements from plastics engineers, working side-by-side with another developer on a daily basis, supporting the sales team by providing technical documentation, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and providing builds to engineers.
