I'm a UX/UI designer with a background in management and experience with frontend coding. As a manager, maintaining the user experience was one of my essential duties. In my role, I led teams of 12+ to execute projects, sustain profit margins, and develop and maintain an environment with a focus on customer needs. I utilized relationship-building, empathy, and communication to assist others in determining effective solutions to unique challenges every day. Interacting with customers and team members daily gave me the opportunity to learn through observation and listening. Combined with careful data analysis, this research allowed me to determine and apply effective solutions to problems. After leading an underperforming team to exceed unmet profit margins, I was ready to challenge myself in a new way.My lifelong curiosity in tech led me to search for a way to transition my enthusiasm for creating human-centered solutions into the tech field. After an intensive Intro to Programming boot camp, I discovered my passion for UX/UI design and graduated from Career Foundry's UI Design program nine months later. As I enter the tech field, I am excited to combine my skillsets to create effective and engaging solutions that work for the user.
