I am responsible for upholding all safety policies and work practices to ensure a safe working environment for all company employees and for notifying operations management of violations of the policies and practices so that management can enforce. Incumbent performs monthly safety meetings and equipment and facility inspections in respective areas, conducts weekly field audits to ensure all employees and equipment is in compliance with all local, state and federal agencies, handles timely reporting of an incident and conducts follow-up with affected employees to ensure they return to work at the appropriate time after the injury. Conducts all required training including PEC Safe land orientation. Ensures that all employees are in compliance with FMCSA regulations in regards to properly logging using an ELD, performing pre and post trip inspections that has a CDL, Capable of performing duties for 3 or more lines of business.
