Working on a team to upgrade the Citrix Build database and system, a C# Web portal that utilizes MS WCF, MS SQL 2008, LINQ. Developed Visual Studio extensions that: create custom project templates, highlight deprecated functions and utilize Intellisense to suggest better function to use. Maintained and enhanced an internal build portal, a C# website with a MSSQL back-end. Created WiX installer to install Citrix build tools, instead of using miscellaneous scripts an batch files. Worked on a team to develop a feature that allows users real desktop applications to be seamlessly integrated into Citrix's Virtual Desktop delivery system to present a fully integrated (virtual) desktop.

Consulted on the architecture and design of a user portal for access to multiple applications to assist child care providers. Consulted on the implementation of a front end application to access a MS SQL database to assign IT Personnel to software and hardware service tasks. Prototyped applications to email insurance leads received hourly and weekly based on zip codes. Implemented a ASP.NET C# MVC2 website, added content, to track bicycle flat tire incidents utilizing Bing and Google maps API's. Designed and wrote a laptop monitoring service utilizing MS C#/.Net 3.0 that reported status of a Verizon Wireless interface back to a Windows Web Service were it was stored on a MS SQL Server 2005 database. Created C#/.Net 3.0 application that utilized HAPI interface to parse and graphically manipulate fields from files HL7 files. The HL7 files were received from clinics and the parsed data was written to a Oracle database. HL7 fields could be combined, separated and processed, these files contained patient information. Maintained and re-factored existing MS VB/.Net 2.0 Web based application that interfaced with laboratory equipment; presented test results of laboratory machines to technicians for approval and then wrote results out to a Oracle 10g database for patient viewing. Designed and wrote JAVA stored procedures and integrated the JDeveloper development environment into an Oracle database.

Designed and wrote in Windows CE a photo capture and display album for a Police Department citation writing application on HP iPAQ PDA’s. Designed and wrote a Windows C++ Voice Recognition application which was voice independent so police officers are not distracted by typing in information while driving. Designed and wrote in MFC and Visual C++ in a multi-threaded environment, robotic control software for handling and testing 12 cell phones at a time. Control software managed the arrival of cell phones on pallets at various test stations and either delivered the phone/pallet into a test fixture (a lift) or signaled the robot that work was ready and it would acquire the phone and deliver it to the test fixture. Wrote applications in MS Visual C++ 6.0, MFC and Visual Basic utilizing MS SQL Server Stored Procedures to load over 1/3 billion dollars onto an multi-tier system for H&R Block’s Rewards Program (Tax refunds) for a Debit Visa card authorization system that was also Web enabled using ASP web pages to allow users to maintain their accounts. Wrote MS SQL Server Stored Procedures tied to PERL scripts for reporting on daily system operations and security. Wrote an application that interfaced to an asset tracking product that would track the direction of an asset passing through a door and through out a building. The asset application would compare raw data from controller with configured parameters in an Access database, determine authorized persons to posse’s asset (based on a badge/badge reader interface), sound external alarms and log transitions. Upgraded simple POS systems to full UPC Price Lookup on an Access Database.

Wrote and debugged various programs to run on the IBM Arctic card. Led team of re-trainee programmers, held classes on the various DAE functions and worked with developers on debugging their code.

Total responsibility for designing, programming, testing, troubleshooting implementation of TELXON portable terminals to emulate IBM's ELF terminal, using the 'C' language, so that both could be connected to the same multi-dropped line (RS-422).
