    Having obtained a PhD in Sustainability and Waste Management, I have recently joined FJD Construction Ltd in the role of Project Manager. I am initially supplementing the company's existing Project Management offering whilst helping to develop our future environmental and sustainability aspirations.In my current position I am working as a Scheme Project Manager seconded within Network Rail on the following projects:- Smart Cameras and Powered Gates Project.This project involves installing Smart Cameras and Powered Operated Gate Openers (POGOs) at 170 User Worked Crossings across the UK. The aims of the project are to collect 24/7 census data and to increase safety at these crossings.- Walsall to Rugeley Linespeed Increase and Bloxwich Level Crossing RemovalMy role on this scheme is to progress the projects through single option development and detailed design stages. This involves working closely with the contractor and designer, and ensuring the project is fully integrated with other enhancements projects along the route.
