About James Barton

Greetings! My name is James D. Barton. I have had over 35 years of experience in Texas Property Tax. I am currently with Brusniak Turner as Executive Director. Brusniak Turner has been a trusted name in Texas Property Tax since 1981. I have experience at National Consulting Firms, International Tax Systems and Software Firms, International Accounting Firms and a large Corporate Data Processing Firm. All of these opportunities have helped to advance my Property Tax Consulting and Analytical skills. During this time I have created and grown several successful Engagement Teams. I am now on the Texas Comptroller's Arbitrator Registry and I have obtained my Civil Mediation Certification. I have recently formed my own enterprise, Technical Appeal Konsulting in order to manage my Arbitration, Mediation and Property Tax Research activities.
