Center For Youth ( East High School)

Oversee daily operations of college preparatory program from enrollment to graduation. ●Student orientation, academic advisement, educational portfolio development, employment assistance , transition supports, parent outreach and engagement, retention, financial planning, SAT prep, study skills, and college applications process. ●Coordination of college tours, career exploration workshops, recruitment of guest speakers , outreach activities and design/distribution of parent newsletter. ●Supportive counseling, crisis intervention, peer mediation, case management services, advocacy, community referrals, mentoring and youth development ●Assisted in grant writing for college preparatory services, program infrastructure design and collaboration with area colleges, school counselors and other college bound programs fostering academic achievement ●Development/implementation of outcome measurement to reach program objectives/ goals and track student achievement for college bound high school students; vocational resources for non college bound students. ● Service delivery target population at risk students including those with mental/physical disabilities, as well as first generation college students, and economically disadvantaged families. ●Organized/monitored student enrichment activities for after-school and summer camp programs encompassing educational workshops, tutorial supports, services learning, recreation activities, character development and exploration field trips. ●Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual agency reports and funder program review statements
